How does this game take up over a gigabyte?! Couldn’t the Linux and Windows builds share files and cut the size down to half a gig? Which still seems unreasonable for an aesthetic that used to fit on floppies… I mean, the main level files alone are dozens of megabytes each, and they compress down to one, so what’s taking up all that empty space?

Where the heck are the “secrets”? What does one even look like?

The secrets can be found in certain puzzle rooms as broken walls that lead to a room containing the secret.

As for the size of the game itself I think you are getting confused. The Linux version was added as experimental because I could not test it as I didn't, and still don't, a system with Linux. You can delete those files in order to save space.

As for the rest of the size, I'm sorry but the audio was not compressed and sadly my expertise didn't allow me to combine files from one version to the other in V1.2 as it was my first game and I don't think is an easy thing to do. Apologies if you don't like it but it how it is.

Can you give an example of a secret, maybe just the easiest one to find? Haven’t been able to find a single one yet.

Just look for cracked pieces of wall while inside any puzzle room during the campaign, there are a lot of rooms but if you know what to look for, they are easy to spot.

Sadly, I have to recognize, the secrets in the first chapter can be more difficult to spot as the tiles blend quite well.

I'm working on my new project and I'm hoping to rebuild the story of this game there so, I can't dedicate time to update this project anymore but they should be easy to track and find if you make a map of the routes you followed.

Sorry I can't help you more and that the low resolution of the image, should be easier with the crisp pixel art within the game. Good luck.

Ooh, thanks! That’ll definitely help, gonna go hunting.

I still don’t understand how the filesize seems to be ten times what it could be, or why you don’t have separate downloads for Windows and Linux builds, but it’s not that much space anyway by today’s standards. I was just surprised at the compression ratio; sorry if I came across as complaining or criticizing.

Anyway, it’s a neat game. I find it really helps to work backwards from the goal, like it sometimes does with traditional mazes. Almost feels like cheating

No problem, enjoy

I had fun! Is there anywhere I could buy the soundtrack? I loved it!

I should have looked better. Thanks a lot! :)

No issue, my apologies for the late response.

I found I had quite a lot of fun with this game and was challenging!

The game's lots of fun! Charming aesthetic, challenging without being overly complicated, with mechanics introduced at just the right pace.

I'd love to play this, but whenever I try to extract the RAR, I keep getting a "file is corrupted" message. Edit: Looks like my RAR extractor wasn't working. Used 7-zip and it worked like a charm. Thanks!

I will check it out

Have you tried to redownload the game again and use winrar to "extract here" in the location of your download? I'm not having any issues to extract and play the game with the rar I just downloaded from the page and for now this is the only complaint about this issue.

I redownloaded a couple times, but it looks like my default RAR extractor wasn't working. I downloaded 7-zip and it worked immediately. Sorry to bug you, and thanks!

No problem, no bug at all. Enjoy the game!
